Clarke Central slips by Red Raiders, 59-54

DANIELSVILLE -- At Danielsville, Clarke Central 's Babatunde Olumuyiwa scored 16 points and Taylor Layne added 13 points as the Gladiators defeated Madison County 59-54, winning their fifth consecutive game.

Clarke Central improved to 15-4 overall and 6-2 in Region 8-AAAA North. Madison County fell to 19-5 overall and 7-2 in the sub-region.

The Red Raiders got double-double performances from Patrick McCrary (12 points, 10 rebounds) and Bradley Raines (11 points, 13 rebounds). T.J. McGuire added 11 points for Madison County , which plays at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Habersham Central.
